Synopsis

Forty years after surviving a brutal attack by the masked killer Michael Myers, Laurie Strode has spent her life preparing for the day he might escape and return. Traumatized by the events of 1978, Laurie has become isolated from her family, including her daughter Karen and granddaughter Allyson.

When Michael Myers escapes from a secure psychiatric facility during a prison transfer, he returns to Haddonfield on Halloween night and resumes his killing spree. As fear spreads through the town, Laurie realizes that the confrontation she has anticipated for decades is finally approaching.

With her family caught in the chaos, Laurie must face her long time tormentor in a tense and violent showdown.
